Many sites supports download manager but many as well does not.
Download manager and just what it says. It manages the downloads. Like some site allows your to resume ETC. Download manager also boost the download speed to it's max creating unstability however faster. Some download manager splits the file so once the downloading it complete it will be joining together. At this guide this will tell you what download manager to use for what. And what supports download manager.
